Purpose of Daily Yoga Sadhana Group

This group is to create an environment where all members do Yoga together even when we are doing at our homes. This group also intends to motivate and mentor each other. Group is intended to do following:

  1. Learn Yoga and other Good Practices
  2. Practice Regularly
  3. Motivate each other to do

 

Regularity(नियम)

Saint Patanjali emphasized on Regularity(नियम) as second realm of Astanga Yoga. Most of us miss on regularity. Today with advance in technology we have abundance of source of knowledge still we have maximum life-style diseases

We know all, then why regularity is missing?

How to join group?

You join group by sending request to group Admin for joining WhatsApp group Join Daily Yoga Sadhana group

How group works?

Group operates using WhatsApp. Members practice daily various group activities and report on group be sending appropriate symbols. Daily attendance of each member in monitored.  Each member is assigned one mentor among us who monitors his/her team and pings member if he or she is missing group activities.

Ushapaan only, no Yoga: Good Morning or Evening ✋

Yoga Only, no Ushapaan: !!चित्त वृत्ति निरोध!!

Basic Information

Yoga’s mentioned below are recommended sequence, but everyone is free to follow his or her sequence

  1. UshaPaan
  2. How Much Water one should drink daily
  3. 10 minute basic Yoga
    This Yoga is good for Constipation, Back Pain this is the minimum Yoga every one should do and qualify for sending Chitta Vritti Nirodha(चित्त वृत्ति निरोध)
  4. 30 minute YogaThis Yoga targets Constipation, Basic warm-up and Yoga for Elasticity of Back, back pain etc
  5. 60 minute Yoga
    This Yoga targets Constipation, Elasticity of back, back pain, lungs etc
  6. Food Meditation

Asanas should never be practiced immediately after pranayama.

If Pranayama is done first, allow an hour to elapse before starting asanas, for the nerves which are soothed in pranayama are liable to be ruffled by the bodily movement of the asanas.

Pranayam, however, may be done not less than 15 minutes after mild practice of asanas.
